Artist Participation Process

Calling All Artists! We invite you to be a part of the Hidden Truths Project (HTP) 1:26 The ART of Epilepsy art exhibits in 2025, spanning from Boston to Chicago and concluding in Southern California. Proceeds from the exhibit will support HTP’s advocacy programs for individuals living with epilepsy, helping to demystify epilepsy through education, improve overall wellbeing, foster public understanding and acceptance, and make epilepsy a topic that’s openly discussed. The application package for submitting your artwork should include your completed application, artist statement, and high-resolution images for the jury review. Please be sure to submit your application by the deadline provided.

  2. Provide a brief background, including a statement about what inspires your creative edge and how epilepsy has influenced your art or wellbeing.
  3. After completing the entry form, please email your artist statement, and high-resolution images of the art you would like juried to Dr. Julie Thompson-Dobkin at hiddentruthsproject@gmail.com

We will email confirmation if your artwork is chosen to be displayed at either of the exhibits.

PLEASE DO NOT SHIP your art to Hidden Truths Project until you receive shipping instructions at time of confirmation.

Your artwork may be selected to be exhibited at one of the hosting cities or our online gallery. We will send you an email confirmation to let you know whether or not your artwork has been chosen to be displayed in the online gallery at either event.

I acknowledge that, while every effort will be made to ensure the safety of my artwork, there are inherent risks associated with participation, including potential damage, theft, or loss. By submitting my work, I release and hold harmless all members of the exhibiting committee and HTP from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, theft, or loss that may arise in connection with my participation in this event. I accept full responsibility for any risks involved and waive any right to seek compensation or recourse in the event of any unfortunate circumstances.
