Hidden Truths Project Workshop Registration

Purple Day® Every Day Expo — Orlando, FL
March 28, 2026 | Disney Coronado Springs Resort

Join us for a transformative, art-forward experience that amplifies the voices and creativity of those living with epilepsy. Hidden Truths Project is honored to partner with the Anita Kaufmann Foundation for this year’s Purple Day® Every Day Expo, bringing a pop-up gallery and hands-on workshops designed for attendees of all ages and abilities.

What to Expect

Step into an immersive space where art becomes a bridge to understanding, connection, and self-expression. Our pop-up gallery and interactive stations invite you to explore, create, and engage with the lived experiences of the epilepsy community.

Featured Workshop: Origami Sculpture with Clifford Buckley

We are thrilled to present Clifford Buckley, known for his extraordinary origami-inspired sculptures crafted primarily from recycled materials — lottery tickets, potato chip bags, Mint Magazines, and more. Using a modular 3-D origami technique he developed, Clifford transforms everyday paper into free-standing sculptures and intricate wall panels.

His work has been featured at:

  • Jacksonville International Airport’s main art gallery
  • Hidden Truths Project’s 1:26 The Art of Epilepsy exhibits
  • Numerous galleries and public installations nationwide

Create Your Own Origami Artwork

Under Clifford’s guidance, participants will learn to fold and assemble one of three sculptural designs:

  • Butterfly
  • Dragonfly
  • Angelfish

Each attendee will receive a complete kit with all materials needed to create their own origami piece from start to finish. No prior experience is required — just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to explore.

Who Should Attend

This workshop is open to:

  • Individuals and families living with epilepsy
  • Educators, caregivers, and advocates
  • Art lovers, creators, and curious minds
  • Anyone seeking a meaningful, hands-on experience

Why It Matters

Art has the power to illuminate hidden truths, spark empathy, and build community. By participating, you help elevate the voices of artists living with epilepsy and support a movement rooted in visibility, empowerment, and connection.
